Step 1 Ensure that your system meets the following requirements: Step 2 Buy a pre-paid Internet calling card from Valufon The pre-paid accounts are available in different denominations; Rs.100, Rs.250, Rs.500 and Rs.750. You can pay online using your credit card or place your order online and pay by cash, on delivery of your Valufon card. We offer free home delivery. You can also purchase your Valufon card offline at any of our dealers nationwide. Step 3 Download the Valufon dialer & install it on your PC To use the Valufon service, you will have to download the dialer from our website - www.valufon.com After the download is complete, follow the instructions to install it on your PC / Laptop. Step 4 Once the installation is complete, click on the 'HCL Dialer' icon on your desktop to launch the dialer. You will now see a dialog box asking you for your 10 digit Account ID & 4 digit PIN Step 5 Login to the Valufon service by entering the 10 digit Account ID & 4 digit PIN which is on the back of your card (in the case of purchases made offline). In the case of purchases made online, the 10 digit Account ID & 4 digit PIN would already have been emailed to your account. Step 6 You will now see the Valufon dialer keypad with the status bar on top showing an “Online” status as well as the available amount balance in your Valufon account. You are now ready to make your call. Use the drop down menu on the top left to select the country code of the country you wish to dial (eg. '1' for USA). Dial the international phone number that you would like to call using the on-screen dialpad or by directly keying in the number & clicking on the dial button Once the call is established, the call timer starts and the duration and amount for the call is displayed on the top panel. You can at any point in time terminate / disconnect your call by clicking on the "End" button Top |
